Beyonce thrilled a superfan with a surprise Skype call after picking him as the winner of her remix contest.

The superstar recently launched a competition to find the best remix of her track End Of Time, and promised to include the winning version on her upcoming 4: The Remix album.

Polish producer Radzimir Debski, aka Jimek, saw off competition from thousands of participants to take first place, and he was delighted when Beyonce used the internet videophone service to tell him the good news.

During their Skype call, which Beyonce has posted on her website, excited Debski tells the singer, "That's so cool! I'm so grateful that you found the time... because you don't have to do this."

Beyonce gushes, "You did a fantastic job. I'm very grateful that so many people participated, but you were incredible. We were all very impressed, and you're very talented. I wish you all the success in the world. Stay as humble as you are."

As well as a place on Beyonce's upcoming EP, Debski has also scooped a cash prize of $4,000 (£2,500).
